While conventional palletizers and robotic palletizers work somewhat differently, they are both focused on the same objective, uniformly stacking cases, bags,and other units on a pallet in a predetermined pattern. As production line speeds continue to increase, palletizers are being improved to keep up. Formsprag clutches are available
in several self contained standard bearing configurations for overrunning, backstopping and indexing applications.
The free action sprag retainer enables infinitely changing wear points for longer life as compared to other one way clutch technologies. This design
provides the greatest number of load elements, maximizing the torque capacity of the clutch.

This clutch has the widest torque range in its class: 100 to 1,000 in. lbs., and will limit transmitted torque no matter if the overload jam is once a year or many times per day. bi-directional single position clutch.
