Palletizing

Power transmission solutions that stack up with palletizers!

While conventional palletizers and robotic palletizers work somewhat differently, they are both focused on the same objective, uniformly stacking cases, bags, and other units on a pallet in a predetermined pattern. As production line speeds continue to increase, palletizers are being improved to keep up. OEMs are continually being challenged to increase the speed and flexibility of palletizer machines, while at the same time maintaining higher reliability and operator safety as compared to manual labor.

Ensure the safety of your palletizer by utilizing safety switches or an electrically released brake from Warner Electric. These electrically released brakes can provide holding functions or stop a moving load. Boston Gear and Warner Electric provide an extensive offering of off-the-shelf components to help you ensure the safety and speed of your palletizer. Palletizers often require a torque limiting device to provide reliable system timing. By providing a wider torque range and a higher RPM capacity than the competition, Centrigard overload clutches provide more application flexibility than competitive products.

Warner Electric provides a variety of Electrically Released Brakes to meet your application needs for static holding, stopping, or moving a load. Available in spring set and
permanent magnet designs and
dynamically engaged models, these brakes provide quick, quiet response for rapid engagement.

Designed for caustic washdown
applications, units feature trusted 700 Series worm gearing, a 316 stainless rounded housing with smooth uninterrupted surfaces designed to prevent particle accumulation and pooling fluids, double lipped shaft seals, covers for all hardware and counter bored holes.

Formsprag clutches are available
in several self contained standard bearing configurations for overrunning, backstopping and indexing applications.
The free action sprag retainer enables infinitely changing wear points for longer life as compared to other one way clutch technologies. This design
provides the greatest number of load elements, maximizing the torque capacity of the clutch.

Warner Electric has many years
of experience in applying sensors
and switches in motion control
applications. Our broad range
of innovative and technologically
advanced noncontact sensors,
industrial limit switches, and safety technology products offer our customers the exact solution to satisfy their sensing applications.

This clutch has the widest torque range in its class: 100 to 1,000 in. lbs., and will limit transmitted torque no matter if the overload jam is once a year or many times per day. The cost-effective design with fewer components combined with a corrosion resistant hard-anodized housing provide years of dependable service. Other features include a fully automatic reset and
bi-directional single position clutch.

Machined for vibration-free performance at speeds up to 6500 FPM. Stock sheaves have capacities ranging from 1/2" to 108". Models offered in four types for use in a variety of packaging applications.
